I was very impressed with the job Shaun and his team did replacing my townhouse roof. Shaun helped me choose the color shingles for the roof, and his workmen were professional, worked as quietly as possible and finished the job exactly when they'd said they would. These guys are great. I needed a new roof and they were advertising a Big Deal. Shaun came right away to scout out the job and gave me a complete estimate within 24 hours of my initial call. My experience with First Choice roof service is excellent. From my very first phone inquiry, it was clear that not only do they know their trade - but they value each conversation or interaction with a prospective customer as a way to earn the opportunity for my business. First Choice was the first company I called. I did take the opportunity to seek quotes from other companies in the weeks following that first inquiry, including some on this list. Shaun and his team continued to build on that positive first impression at ever step of the way. At no time did I feel any pressure to choose a specific product or even select them as my contractor. When I was finally able to visit the job site at lunch on the second day of the project, the roof looked amazing and I think the yard was cleaner than when they started. We were TOTALLY satisfied and happy with this company!!! The crew was very knowledgeable and professional. They were eager to answer all questions and do exactly what we wanted. I searched online for roof cleaning companies in bothell area and found this company. This was my first time using them. I got an online quote and chose them because they gave me a reasonable price. But that was it. Since I was not going to be home, I called them the morning of the job and told them to call me when the job was done so I can pay them. Shaun ( don’t know if he is company owner or employee) called me after job was done and was very rude on the phone. When asked how the job went he raised his voice and said they did what they described in the invoice. When asked if he can tell me condition of the roof, he visibly got upset and said he does not know any companies who describe the condition of the roof because they don’t. When I politely asked if he was upset and he said he is definitely upset because I asked him a question. What kind of company is this person running if he does not know how to show respect to a customer????? I am definitely going to spread the word in my neighborhood not to use them. Please only choose them if you would like some unprofessional/yeller talking to you on the phone. If you are expecting a polite professional company, they are definitely not that!!!!!

Shaun was very friendly, courteous and very informed about the services. He thoroughly explained our options and provided suggestions. We explained our concern about possible damage to our garden beds surrounding the house and he explained the practices they use to protect them. We were very impressed with the care that his crew took protecting the plants. The crew came on-time, and performed a very professional, quality job. Throughout the project, Shaun would regularly contact us to ensure things were going well. After the installation, the crew went to great effort to make sure every thing was cleaned up. Completely put off and replace shingles on a mansard roof. Shaun got here to the house inspected the work. He was very expert and explained in element the work required and supplied an estimate. I wanted to say Shaun was prompt in taking my call and providing a quote for our roof coating. That said, I am wondering if the experience I had with him is the test of times or unique to me. We were looking for a roof coating, Shaun's quote was pretty reasonable, timely, and detailed. Kudos! But, we had couple of questions and today he cut me off the call, and that too in a pretty unprofessional manner. All we wanted to know was the material they will use for the coating as we wanted to read about the safety of it. We didn't even object to the price. He said they are busy and basically shooed me away. I felt that was very inconsistent with all the glowing reviews I have read. Wonder why I am being treated this way. Could the owner of the company respond to me via email?

I had a roof that was in seriously bad condition. After talking to 4 different roofers, i decided to go with First Choice roof service. I had the pleasure of working with Shaun and he was nothing far from professional and understanding to my situation. He laid everything out and provided ALL details along with what to expect. Although he wasn't there 100% of the time his crew is by far one of most impressive group of guys I've ever met and dealt with. Pricing varied by as much as 100%, with the one who was double the price of the lowest refusing to even give a breakdown of why the delta, just threw a price down. I've hired First Choice roof service on two separate occasions, once to re-roof a detached garage and then to re-roof my house. Everyone there was excellent to work with on both jobs. Their estimate both times were more thorough (and reasonable) than any competitors. The detail that went into the estimates avoided surprises down the road. Shuan came out and did a bid for me for my roof replace. He was honest about what he saw and he's been doing this for a while so I felt like I could trust his advice. He sent me a bid with an offer to do work. He then sent me an email and a hard copy of the bid with beautiful photos of everything so I could see the places he was suggesting to complete the work. You could not ask for a more honest, amazing, responsible, and respectable roofing company. Shaun, who is a delight, to the office, who are super nice and helpful, to al crew are awesome (and funny) who seems to work 24/7, to the roofers themselves, who are pleasant and the hardest working roofers I've ever seen. But in addition to the obvious quality, their finesse and skill with fixing my sagging roofline, the ease with which they removed a surprise double-done roof with two layers, and rotting wood, the true pleasure it is to work with such a competent and friendly and nice team cannot be beat. Overall a great experience. Tom came out to measure and figure out layout/etc. They were very patient as we worked through delays due to other work going on on our end, and once given the green light they came quickly and did great work. John led the installation crew and all the guys did a great job and were a pleasure to have working in our home. We have existing laying floors in a few rooms and after they completed installing on time, it looks great. We had gotten estimates from a few other vendors and selected New Floors USA because they seemed the most on the ball through the estimate/selection process, they promised satisfaction, and their price wasn't the lowest but was competitive. We couldn't be more satisfied and happy with our new wood floors.

Shaun and his crew did a fantastic job. We got a quote with a detailed breakdown of the costs after Shaun came by for a thorough inspection. He also provided with a list of properties that had the roof work done by First Choice roof service for reference. Because I was out of town for a while, Shaun was very accommodating and we were able to change the date to fit my schedule. During the roofing process, the crew was quick and professional. They also made an extra effort not to disturb us in the house. The whole time we felt at ease with what's being done to the house. After the roof is done, the crew cleaned up everything and removed all debris around the house. Shaun informed us about the date the inspector is going to be over and what documents we need to get ready for it. On the day of the inspection, Shaun personally came by in the morning and made sure we had everything correct. Overall, Shaun and First Choice roof service crew did a phenomenal job. The entire project took 8 days, Shaun and his Team arrived on time, cleaned up the area at the end of every day's work and communicated next steps in the process. Had a great experience with my full roof replacement. They got started within 3 days finished very quickly. Permits and inspections were all taken care of with no issues. The crew was very nice, and worked through a surprise rain to make sure things were covered up. At the end they came back and cleaned all the debris. We scheduled our roof replacement with Shaun in early October 2020. The earliest appointment was Nov 16th 2020. Four days before our scheduled appointment on 11/12/20 we called to go over a few questions, such as shingle color, vents, and what would happen if it is raining. Since we have a hole in our roof, we have been eager for Shaun's company to do our work, and have been looking forward to working with them.During our phone call Shaun was extremely unprofessional, told my wife and I that we had an "attitude", and then cancelled our scheduled (and quoted) roof installation before we had even asked our first question. We are still in shock at this type of treatment, and are uncertain as to why Shaun would behave in such a manner. We were not angry or upset, we just wanted to go over last minute details before the project began. He not only refused to answer our questions, but then insulted us, and cancelled our appointment. I wish I had the phone transcript to add to this review, as it would certainly surprise any who heard it.We have been doing many remodels over the past couple months, and have worked with awesome contractors and several great companies. Sadly, I cannot recommend Shaun and his company. Both times I have talked with Shaun on the phone he has been very unprofessional, rude, and condescending, and would not answer our most basic questions (including through email). After waiting over a month for our scheduled date, Shaun cancels at the last minute and leaves us without a roofing contractor. I hope others have better experiences with Shaun and his company, but we and our family, friends, and clients will not be doing business with him.

Shaun and his team were great! We used them to do a full flat roof replacement and a garage roof replacement. They started off the whole process with a competitive bid. They then insisted we meet up with them for a consultation to explain their bid, their materials, and their process. During the actual demo and installation they were very professional. They pulled out permits, showed up on time, and kept their mess to a minimum. They would text us updates throughout the day, so we knew exactly what was being done. Inspection with the county passed no problem. The finished the job in 6 days. Overall we had a great experience!

The roof looks amazing and we already notice a difference in temperature after installing the solar vents that they suggested. The estimate was thorough and included items that other companies wanted to charge us extra for. The work was completed in less than a week. Shaun did everything he could to work us into his schedule while accommodating our changing construction schedule. I have hired First Choice roof service two times over the past few years. The first time was a relatively minor repair on some roof and chimney damage. I got a few quotes and the price from First Choice was the most competitive and included an option to completely replace part of the roof as well. It was done quickly and without incident. What an amazing experience. We were purchasing a new home and knew the roof was in terrible shape. It was not going to be an easy job as there were multiple original installation issues (think shingles instead of rake boards)...and a flat roof with shingles on it, all this with many leaks where the flat roof met the main house. Shaun came out and spent significant time talking through the issues, the possible solutions. He answered them at that time and then for days after via e-mail and texts. We had a very tight deadline which was contingent on closing as we needed the roof fixed before moving in. Shaun agreed to move forward with only a week notice to proceed. Everything arrived on time, the team arrived on time, and they were done early. The price was amazing! Shaun then met me on-site and went over my questions, touched up a few areas that I had concerns over. Could not be more happy with First Choice roof service. Definitely would use again and highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Shaun and First Choice roof service enough. He understood the urgency of our situation and worked with our insurance to get it covered. Fully replaced a house and garage roof in two days and our home had three layers of shingle to remove. He was responsive and able to squeeze us in earlier than expected.
